PENZOIL: TRAVEL ON
TLC Marketing wished to add a positive spin to getting a check oil light in your car. We went to Pennzoil with a promotion in which customers can earn travel dollars for getting an oil change at a Pennzoil chart. We started with a “Travel On” logo and key art. The live promotion included a redemption website, emails and even a U.S. landmark guessing game to get customers excited for when they can go to enjoy their travel rewards.
We also proposed other concepts to amplify the excitement of the travel themed campaign. Ideas proposed included a promotional surfboard, a food truck featuring dishes from around the country, adcepts for waiting room magazines and lanyards and Pennzoil branded Hawaiian shirts for employees.
